This might have been the funnest set of images I’ve worked on in a long while. When my sister-in-law, Mary, told me to bring my camera as there would be many photo opportunities, she wasn’t kidding! Her new ranch is a beautiful, idyllic one, and the kids had such a wonderful time exploring, giggling, and just hanging out.
Besides that, what a great time in these kids’ lives to document: their innocence; their relationships; their curiosity; their tenderness. It always makes my heart smile to see them playing together. And, as there are mostly girls here, I imagine this fun, innocent, un-catty time will only last so long before the tween-age drama sets in. (But I pray that I am wrong!)
Well, onto the pictures, then. I think they speak louder than my words.
