May 1st, 2010. Exactly 10 years ago, you and I started dating. Unbelievable. It is hard to imagine that when I first met you I was still a 19 year old teenager.
The day I saw you I told my sister, “I want that one.” But given that we were at a crowded frat party and I had no idea who you were, the odds – in my mind – that I would ever meet and learn more about you seemed close to zero.
Well, as you might have said, there was a non-zero probability and I, in fact, did meet you, making that moment back at the Boston Marathon party fateful and ever so special.
10 years later and you are still the gem I thought you were back then. I am still in AWE of your selflessness. I still RESPECT you for your complete honesty. I still ADMIRE you for the man that you are: full of knowledge – my most trusted source; infallibly moral and good; hardworking; and a wonderful patient husband and father.
I could not ask for more. And for all this, I LOVE you.
Here’s to another 10, 20, 30, 40 maybe even another 50 or 60 years, my love!
