I should be walking. And walking and walking and walking. The only problem is it wears me out! Just changing the sheets has me huffing and puffing like a choo-choo train. So, while I do walk a bit to get things jostled every now and then, I have to admit I do a lot of sitting. The dilemma with sitting is getting things done and nothing is worse for me then feeling unproductive. To remedy this I have learned to channel my inner workaholic into crafting! Fortunately for me, lots of crafting involves lots of sitting. 🙂
What has this new craftster been doing when Isabel lets me or is sleeping? Well, knitting…

Festive pleated skirt for Isabel
In between projects for friends and Baby #2, I have to get goodies in for Isabel. Right now, she believes that everything I do is for her. Naturally, I do not contradict her so as to avoid any unnecessary tantrums or disappointment. Luckily, she tends to move on to bigger and better things quickly, but I still make surprises for her to get giggly over and hope that she remembers this when the next little bundle comes along.
Ultimately, there is a lot to get done and somehow I get this funny feeling that October will not be as generous with it’s free time* for me. Then again, I may not have this baby ’til November…
*Free time = time in between 11pm and 2am. I can’t sleep anyway, so might as well GET THINGS DONE!
