Quick Update – Newborn Baby Girl – Ilona Grace Heffernan

Ahhh, I don’t know know if I will get to the posts lodged in my head in time…

On June 25th, the night I went into labor, I literally sat down at my desk and started to update my blog. I was getting ready to write a post that I have been delaying and dreading, but hoping to write before Elise’s birthday. Little did I know I would give birth to our newest love, Ilona, and just one day before our angel was born a year ago.

It’s not that my feelings have changed, but they are muddled. It is hard to go to dark places when there is such light now in my arms. I want to hold on to this light, my little miracle baby girl.

And I had no idea, until now, how much I really missed and wanted to hold my little baby. I am in heaven now with little Ilona. And I am so, so very Thankful.

We welcome Ilona Grace Heffernan.

Born June 26th, 12:58am (Our wedding anniversary!)

9lbs-13oz, 21 inches

We are Blessed and so very happy.
