I Heart Faces Challenge: Black and White

I’ve wanted to submit photos to contests for a while now, and I have to start somewhere. A few days ago I stumbled across the I Heart Faces photo contest and decided to enter. Hopefully this will be the second of many. (I also entered the Mobile Photography Awards a few months ago and received Honorable Mention for the Black and White category!) This week’s theme is Black and White: I am in a B&W phase right now, so it was hard to choose. I realized, though, that I have not even blogged this photo yet. How could I have missed this? (I know, I’ve been missing a lot.) Over the months I have taken a series of images of our little Bug in this high chair. She never disappoints. I do plan to show the series one day, when she’s no longer sitting in it. Instead of the onesie with the month written on it, I have my high-chair growth series. Watching her grow in the context of food, expression, and activity in the chair has been a joy for my heart.
