Anticipation – Maternity – Los Angeles Photographer

A few weeks ago, I had the honor to do a maternity shoot of a good friend of mine. She needed some shots for a friend of hers in the Philippines, who would use them for a marketing campaign. Would I say yes? Of course! Even though I was a bit slow and heavy on my feet, my excitement and passion for photography seemed to get me through the struggles. I had a lot of fun creating these images: she made it so easy with her beauty and willingness to listen. And she was so patient with me – thank you, J!

Seeing these images makes me think – despite it all – that I should get pregnant one more time just to have some maternity shots of me with a smaller belly. For now I will just try to find ways to take some self-portraits that don’t make me look as obscenely giant as I really am.
